What if you could eat meat from an extinct animal? That was the question that sparked the mammoth meatball, a world-first experiment and creative collaboration between Wunderman Thompson and Vow, Australia's first cultured meat company. The campaign unveiled the world’s first meatball made from mammoth DNA at the Nemo Science Museum in the Netherlands in April 2023, generating massive media attention and public curiosity. The aim of the activation was to start a conversation about how we eat and what future alternatives of food can look and taste like.
