Born in Tokyo in 1968, joined Hakuhodo in 1993 and was involved in corporate PR activities in the Corporate Communications Department. Involved in corporate PR activities in the Corporate Communications Department, he was transferred to the Asahi Shimbun in 2001. He was editorial director of "SEVEN," a newspaper for young people sold at Starbucks Coffee and other outlets, and served as editor-in-chief of Hakuhodo's "Advertisement" from 2002 to 2004. In 2006, he established Hakuhodo Kettle, a communication agency that operates outside of existing methods. In 2012, he opened the bookstore B&B in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, as a joint venture with Shintaro Uchinuma. He has edited and published several books, including "CHILDLENS" (Little More), "Koichiro Shima's Way of Creating Ideas" (Discover 21), "Planning Power" (Shoei-sha), "I have to remember this tweet. (Kodansha), and "Hito ga hizoku, mono ga shizoku de mono ga kurageiru edito-jutsu: How to Create Brand "Media" (Seibundo Shinkosha).
