MYFARM Inc.
Born in Fukui Prefecture in 1982, he graduated from the Department of Bioresource Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Kyoto University in 2006. After graduating from university and working for one year, he wanted to do something about the fallow land he saw in Fukui during his childhood! With this desire, he established My Farm Co., Ltd. with the philosophy of "self-production for self-consumption. In 2010, he became the youngest postwar member of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF) Policy Deliberation Committee, and received the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Furusato Zukuri Grand Award" in 2016. In June 2022, he was awarded the "JCI JAPAN TOYP" (36th National Honor Award for Youth), Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Incentive Award. His dream for the future is to create a society where people all over the world are engaged in agriculture (touching the soil).
